DATE : MAY 2, 2016.

Since the issue involved in the writ petitions is identical, they are heard together and are decided by this common order.

By these writ petitions, the petitioners seek a direction to the respondents to forthwith release the grant-inaid due and payable to the petitioners for running the Balgruhas in district Washim.

Mrs. Deshpande, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, states

wp581, 651, 807.16, 2/2 that the amount that is due and payable to the petitioners, till April, 2015, would be paid to the petitioners, within a short time. It is stated that after 2015, there is change in policy and appropriate steps would be initiated to consider the question of releasing the grant-in-aid for the period from 2015-16 as per the change in policy. It is stated that due to paucity of funds, the grant-in-aid that was liable to be paid, till April 2015, could not be released.

In the circumstances of the case, since the payment of the grant-in-aid to the petitioners is not disputed by the respondents, till April, 2015, we dispose of the writ petitions by directing the respondents to release the grant-inaid, till 2015 to the petitioners, within a period of ten weeks. Order accordingly. No costs.
