By this contempt petition, the petitioner has sought action against the respondent for willful disobedience of the order, dated 10/04/2012 in Writ Petition No.3358 of 2010.

According to the petitioner, though the respondent was directed to permit the petitioner to sign on the service book without prejudice to the objections, if any, to the entries made therein, the respondent had not permitted the petitioner to sign the same. Shri De, the learned counsel for the respondent, states by referring to the pursis dated 11/02/2014 that the petitioner was supplied with a copy of the service book and was called upon to record his objection. It is stated that the petitioner had counter signed on the service book. It is stated that since the only direction that was issued against the respondent was to permit the petitioner to sign the service book and the petitioner has signed the service book, the contempt proceedings initiated against the respondent should be dropped. By accepting the statement made by the learned counsel for the respondent, we dispose of the contempt petition with no order as to costs.
