The petitioner has applied for special remission in terms of Government Resolution ('GR') dated 03.06.2017. The Authorities have sought judicial appraisal from the Convicting Court. Communication dated 19.09.2023 made by the Convicting Court to the Prison Authority discloses that since the concerned file was sent to this Court in appeal, therefore opinion cannot be expressed. We hereby direct the Convicting Court to make correspondence with this Court for calling the relevant record which the Registrar shall transmit to the concerned Court enabling him to give judicial appraisal. The concerned Court shall return the record after forwarding his opinion.
