The accused is convicted for offence punishable under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code and is sentenced to suffer imprisonment for five years and to payment of fine of Rs.5000/-.

The accused was on bail during the trial. Nothing is brought to my notice to suggest that the accused violated the conditions of bail or misused the liberty. I have perused the deposition on record.

The substantive sentence is suspended till the disposal of the appeal.
