Shri V.G.Palshikar, Advocate for the appellant has pointed out the order of the National Lok Adalat, dated 8th July 2017, recording amicable settlement between the parties. The order states that the first appeal is disposed. The matter is listed today for compliance in the cross-objection filed by the respondents in the first appeal. The learned Advocate for the appellant in First Appeal has pointed out that the claim of the Cross-Objectors does not survive in view of the settlement between the parties and it is only because of inadvertence, the cross objection has not been brought to the notice of the National Lok Adalat. Accepting the submission made on behalf of the appellants in the First Appeal, the Cross-Objection is disposed. No costs.
