It is petitioner's contention that Maharashtra Fisheries Development Corporation has assigned a reservoir for fishing to the petitioner for the period of five years from 25.4.2023 to 24.4.2028. In pursuance of said agreement dated 25.4.2023 the petitioner has invited local fishermen for allotment of sub-contract. It is alleged that despite legal assignment in favour of petitioner some of the illegal claimants are disturbing the petitioner's fishery work for which complaint was made to the police dated 8.1.2024. According to petitioner despite such application the police have not taken any action against miscreants. 3.

We hereby direct concerned police to consider application dated 8.1.2024 and take appropriate decision in accordance with law.
