This is an application moved by the respondent - State substantially seeking permission to file charge sheet before the trial Court.

This Court vide an interim order dated 16.03.2018, permitted the investigating agency to carry out the investigation, however, charge sheet was directed not to be filed during the pendency of the proceeding.

In course of time investigation is completed and charge sheet is ready. We see no reason to deny permission to the State to file charge sheet. Needless to say that the applicant is at liberty to amend the application seeking appropriate relief. In view of this, Criminal Application is allowed and disposed of. The respondent / State is permitted to file charge sheet.
