By order dated 04/03/2020, this Court had stayed execution and implementation of the impugned judgment and award subject to deposit of the entire amount of compensation within a period of eight weeks.

Learned Counsel for the appellants states that the amount of compensation could not be deposited within stipulated period in view of lock down declared due to COVID-19 pandemic. He states that the entire amount of compensation will be deposited within a period of eight days.

In the light of the said statement, the stay order, which was vacated due to non-deposit of the amount, shall continue till final disposal of the appeal. In the event, the appellants fail to deposit the said amount, the stay order shall stand vacated without further reference to the Court.

The civil application stands disposed of.
