DATED : 14-03 -202 By present application, which has been filed on 25-1-2024, the applicant/appellant is seeking extension of time to deposit the decreetal amount.

Vide order dated 30-8-2023, this Court has granted stay to the execution of the judgment and award dated 16-2-2023 subject to depositing entire amount of compensation within eight weeks, which period concludes sometimes on 26-10-2023.

The applicant/appellant ought to have filed application seeking extension prior to lapsing of time which the applicant/appellant has not done. Therefore, the time cannot be extended as prayed for.
