NOVEMBER 24, 2025 1) Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2) The petitioners challenge the order dated 15/12/2018 passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Amravati in Revision No. 141/RTS-62/Kanheri/2013-14.

3) Learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the petitioners are having an alternate and equally efficacious remedy to challenge the same by filing revision before the State Government under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. In support of his submission, he relied upon the judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Gurudassing Nawoosingh Panjwani Vs. State of Maharashtra and Ors. reported in 2015(6) Mh.L.J. 915.

4) In view thereof, the petition is disposed as not maintainable. The petitioners are at liberty to challenge the impugned order before the State Government within a period of four weeks from today. Time spent in prosecuting the present writ petition to be taken into consideration by the State KOLHE

The petitioners are at liberty to place any additional document on record before the State Government, and same be considered on its own merit. No order as to costs.
