The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the Petitioner had made an application for compassionate appointment on 25 January 2018 in view of her husband's death on 19 December 2017. The learned counsel points out that the Respondent - School has forwarded the proposal on 28 April 2018 and no decision thereupon is taken.

Considering the object for which the compassionate appointment is granted and that the Petitioner had made an application immediately upon the death of her husband, we direct the Respondent Education Officer (Secondary) to take necessary decision / action in respect of the proposal forwarded on 20 April KOLHE

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.
