The Criminal Application (APL) No.767/2018 is dismissed as withdrawn.

While the Criminal Application was heard and disposed, the learned Advocate for the applicant was under an impression that application filed by the applicant seeking pre-arrest bail is pending and there is an order of interim protection. However, later on it is found that after the interim protection was granted by this Court by the order dated 29.08.2018, the application praying for prearrest bail was dismissed. 3.

During the pendency of the Criminal Application (APL) No.767/2018, the directions that coercive steps should not be taken against the applicant in respect of the offences under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act is operated.

In the above facts, it is directed that any coercive steps shall not be taken against the applicant till 01.03.2021, so as to enable the applicant to adopt appropriate proceedings as per law 5.
