Heard.
The petitioners/applicants have taken out this application for direction to respondent no.1/University to decide their representation. Mr.S.P.Bhandarkar, learned Counsel for the petitioners/applicants submits that the Writ Petition was disposed of on 23.12.2014 with liberty to the petitioners to avail of the alternate remedy. Accordingly, representation has been filed and though period in excess of four months has expired, it has not been decided. Smt.A.P.Shinde, learned Counsel for respondent no.2 points out that there was no direction to decide the representation within the stipulated period and hence, the application in a disposed Writ Petition is misconceived. It is open to the petitioners to request the Authority before whom representation is pending to dispose
272caw276.15 of the same at the earliest. If cognizance is not taken, the petitioners can approach this Court in appropriate jurisdiction. Hence, we find the present application misconceived. It is accordingly disposed of.
