CORAM
: PRASANNA B. VARALE, J.
DATE : MARCH 17, 2015.
After arguing for some time, the learned Counsel for the applicant, on instructions, submits that the applicant would surrender before the authority concerned or before the Court and may avail the remedy including the remedy of seeking enlargement on bail on his surrender. The learned Counsel then submits that as this Court protected the applicant by interim orders, the protection be continued for a period of one week. The learned A.P.P. opposes the prayer for extension of the interim protection.
Considering the fact that the applicant has expressed his wish to surrender before the authority concerned and seek the remedy available under the law and the applicant was protected by this Court, I see no reason to refuse the prayer for extension of the protection for a week.
aba.54.15 2/2 The learned Counsel for the applicant, on instructions, submits that the applicant would surrender before the authority concerned on or before 23rd of March, 2015 In the result, the application is disposed of in above terms. Needless to state that this protection will be available only for a week i.e. till 23rd of March, 2015. JUDGE *sdw
