DATED : 08th NOVEMBER, 2019 Shri Patrikar, learned counsel for the applicantpetitioner submits that Civil Application No.287 of 2017 has become infructuous because the construction has already been demolished. The application is, therefore, dismissed as infructuous.

Writ Petition No.493/2017 The only contention in this petition is that though the petitioner is the owner of the property in question, which has been acquired for construction of road, the compensation has not been paid. We are, therefore, anxious to know the date on which the award is passed. If the acquisition proceedings is concluded or if there is any sale

deed by any private negotiations to clear the land, the same is also required to produce.

Prima facie, we are of the view that once the land is acquired, the compensation has to be paid.
