Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. 2.

Prayer in this petition is to direct the respondent no.2 to accept and process pension case of the petitioner to the office of the respondent no.1.

Accordingly, an affidavit dated 29.11.2025 has been tendered by the learned Additional Government Pleader. Paragraph 6 of the same reads thus:

"6. I say and submit that, the pension proposal, reflecting qualifying service upto to 30.09.2020 shall be submitted to the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Maharashtra-II, Nagpur on Tuesday, 02.12.2025, for necessary sanction. All supporting documentation and formalities required have been duly complied with"

Not only this, our attention is also invited to the affidavit dated 27.11.2025 filed by the respondent no.1, more particularly paragraph 9, which reads thus:

"9. The answering respondent humbly submits that if the pension proposal of the petitioner is received in this answering respondent office, it will be authorized within ten working day if found conforming the rules. provisions of Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, and Circulars/Government Resolutions/Notifications issued by the Government of Maharashtra from time to time."

In view thereof, we are satisfied that the grievance of the petitioner is redressed. However, we make it clear that after the decision of the Authority, the pension amount be disbursed in favour of the petitioner within a month's thereafter.

With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
