In this petition, the rejection of the application for interim maintenance vide order dated 25.10.2023 by the Family Court Akola, is under challenge.

Admittedly, the petitioner is working as 'Talathi' and the respondent as 'Computer Engineer' and both are in the Government job.

It is the case of the petitioner that she has to maintain her major brother, who is 21 years old and also her the parents and therefore, the expenses are more than her earning. 5.

This ground cannot be accepted for grant of interim maintenance, particularly, when it is not the case of the petitioner that, the expenses are not sufficient to maintain herself. The petitioner cannot ask for maintenance on the ground that she has to maintain her brother and parents.

The learned Family Court, has categorically observed that the petitioner's salary is Rs.46,000/-.

Thus, considering the above referred facts, and the reasons recorded in the impugned order, I do not find any merits in the present writ petition, accordingly, it is dismissed. [ANIL S. KILOR, J.] nd.thawre
