According to the petitioners, some lawyer and their relatives had helped them. However, neither the name of the lawyer nor the names of any relatives are mentioned in the petition. The version of the petitioners is completely denied by the respondents who contend that the petitioners were never arrested and therefore, there was no question of petitioners having been taken in custody. The petitioners are also not helping their own case as they had not revealed the names of the lawyer and relatives who as per their say had come to police station or had taken them to the hospital.

In the circumstances, we do not find that there is any cause for this Court to issue any direction to
2 Cri.W.P.92.2020 the respondents regarding further inquiry into the matter and/or handing over the investigation to the Local Crime Branch, Nagpur.
The Writ Petition stands dismissed.
