The grievance in this petition is that the order of this Court dated 07/10/2019 in Writ Petition No. 7418/2017 has not been obeyed by the respondent No. 3 - The Deputy Director of Education.

In the aforesaid order, the respondent No. 3 - The Deputy Director of Education was directed to decide the rival claims, as regards full-time post of Librarian, as made by the petitioner and respondent No. 7 in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner and respondent No. 7 and also the Management, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within eight weeks, from the date of their appearance.

Shri Thakare, learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent/State submits that the matter has been decided by order dated 06/01/2020 and the claim of the petitioner came to be rejected.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader undertakes to file affidavit in his behalf during the course of the day.

Considering the statement made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, we are satisfied that the direction issued by this Court has been duly complied with. If the petitioner has any grievance, he is at liberty to agitate his grievance in an independent proceeding.

In this view of the matter, we find that the grievance of the petitioner is redressed and hence the contempt petition is disposed of accordingly with no order as to costs.
