DATE : 09.03.2016 By this petition, the petitioner challenges the order of the respondent no.3 - Chief Officer, Municipal Council, Khapa, dated 31.12.2015 directing the petitioner to stop the work in terms of the acceptance of the tender as the petitioner had not commenced the work within the period prescribed. Shri Patil, the learned Counsel for the respondent no.3 - Municipal Council, Khapa states, on instructions from the Chief Officer, who is present in the Court today, that the order, dated 31.12.2015 is sought to be withdrawn and the petitioner is permitted by the letter, dated 8.3.2016 to commence the work that was awarded to him.

0903wp893.16.odt In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the Municipal Council, the grievance of the petitioner would stand redressed.

Hence, by accepting the statement made on behalf of the Municipal Council, Khapa, we dispose of the writ petition with no order as to costs.
