The Petitioner has filed this Petition seeking direction to the Respondent - Scrutiny Committee for expeditious disposal of the inquiry pertaining to his Caste claim. The Caste Certificate of the Petitioner was referred to the Scrutiny Committee for verification on 06 December 2012. 2.

Notice was issued in this Petition on 05 February 2020. Considering the fact that the Vigilance Report is already submitted and considering the facts and circumstances of the present Petition, we direct that the pending Caste claim of the Petitioner be decided within a period of six months from the date the Writ of this Court reaches the Respondent SMGate
