The affidavit sworn by the respondent on 20th July, 2016 stating that the Government resolution dated 13th July, 2016 is issued approving the reinstatement of petitioner with continuity of service from 1st September, 1988. It is further stated in the affidavit that the petitioner is given cheque dated 15th July, 2016 for Rs.2,09,025/- towards the arrears of wages. It is submitted that the amount paid to the petitioner is properly calculated and it is as per the order passed by this Court on 3rd March, 2014.

The respondent had filed reply dated 27th June, 2016 in which an unconditional apology was tendered. In the above facts, I am not inclined to proceed further in the matter. Notice of contempt is dropped. No costs. JUDGE Tambaskar.
