It is stated on behalf of the petitioner that in almost identical set of facts, this Court has, by the order dated 04.04.2016, partly allowed Writ Petition No.4578/2015 and has directed the State Government to consider the recommendation of the respondent no.3-University on or before 31.05.2016 and communicate its outcome to the petitioner, immediately. It is stated that a similar order may be passed in this writ petition also.
Mrs. Deshpande, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the State Government does not dispute the statements made by the learned counsel for the petitioner. It is admitted that in similar set of facts, this Court had directed the State Government to consider the proposal of the petitioner and decide the same before 31.05.2016. Hence, on parity, without observing anything on merits, we direct the State Government to process the
wp1020.16.odt recommendation of the respondent no.3-University in respect of the proposal of the petitioner before 31.05.2016 and communicate the decision to the petitioner, immediately. We direct the petitioner to remain present in the office of the State Government on 31.05.2016.
With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs. A copy of this order may be supplied to the parties on request.
