Prayer is to condone the delay in filing the first appeal. The reasons for delay are mentioned in paragraph Nos.4 and 5 of the civil application.
The application is opposed by the learned counsel for the non-applicants / respondents on the ground that no sufficient cause has been shown.
Considering the reasons as assigned, the delay in filing the first appeal stands condoned.
The civil application is allowed and disposed of accordingly.

Civil Application (CAF) NO.2065 of 2014 Heard.
It is stated that though the applicant / appellant has deposited the amount of enhanced compensation by way of Cheque, the said Cheque was returned back without being cleared. It is stated that the applicant / appellant be permitted to take back the said Cheque so as to enable it to furnish a fresh Cheque for the aforesaid amount. The Registry is permitted to return the Cheque dated 24.11.2014 to the applicant / appellant. Fresh Cheque be deposited by the applicant / appellant within a period of two weeks from today. JUDGE !!
