Heard the learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the Respondent Nos. 1 and 2. 2.

By this petition the Petitioner is seeking a direction to the Respondent Scrutiny Committee to dispose of the pending caste claim of the Petitioner.

The learned Counsel for the Petitioner states that the caste

Order 2202wp1009.21 claim of the Petitioner was referred to the Scrutiny Committee on 22 July 2019 and is pending.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader has placed before us a chart containing consolidated statement of the pending cases before the Scrutiny Committee, Nagpur which shows that even for education purpose 644 claims are pending starting from the year 2009. 4.

That being the position, we dispose of the Writ Petition directing the Respondent Scrutiny Committee to take a decision on the pending caste claim of the Petitioner within a period of 6 months from the date this order reaches it, subject to earlier time bound directions. 5.

Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.

Considering the fact that the Petitioner is not yet been granted the validity certificate and that nothing except the application and the mark sheet is annexed to the petition, the prayer of the Petitioner to accept examination form, meaning thereby continuing the Petitioner to appear in the reserved category, cannot be granted. The same stands refused.
