The Petitioners are seeking to challenge the election of Respondent No.2 as a Member of the Gram Panchayat, Katkhed, Taluq Barshitakli, District Akola.

For challenging the election on the ground that the Respondent No.2 was disqualified, the Petitioner has a remedy under the Maharashtra Village Panchayat Act.
