By this contempt petition, the petitioner has sought action against the the respondent for non-compliance of the solemn undertaking given to this Court as reflected in the order dated 09.08.2012 in Writ Petition No.1855 of 2012. During the pendency of the contempt petition, the learned counsel for the respondent made a statement that the respondent would demolish the entire structure and would produce the photographs to show that nothing remains to be demolished. It is stated that in pursuance of the statement made on 22.03.2016, the respondent has demolished the structures. It is stated that the undertaking as required by the order of which the contempt is alleged is also tendered in this Court. Shri Sambre, the learned counsel for the petitioner, does not dispute the statement made on behalf of the respondent that the structures now stand demolished. We accept the undertaking on record.
In view of the statements recorded hereinabove, we dispose of the contempt petition with no order as to costs. JUDGE JUDGE APTE
