The prayer made by the petitioners in the instant petition is for a direction to the respondent No.1State of Maharashtra to decide the application for stay in the pending appeal filed by the petitioners under the provisions of the Nagpur Improvement Trust Act. A direction to the respondents to decide the appeal at the earlies, is also sought.

Mrs. Kulkarni, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent No.1 states, on instructions received from the State Government vide communication dated 2.5.2016, that the appeal filed by the petitioners would be decided, within a period of three months.
