Considering the nature of directions proposed to be issued, the representation of the respondent is not called for. The petitioner claims that he had sought appointment on the post of Pharmacist with the Zilla Parishad, Yavatmal. He was accordingly interviewed and got selected on 29/03/2000. However a candidate from the waiting list Shri Vijaykumar Bhutada had challenged the said process which was therefore stayed. Writ Petition No.1222/2000 that was preferred by the said wait listed candidate was withdrawn on 30/01/2008. Thereafter the petitioner was appointed on 04/07/2008. The petitioner seeks benefit of his selection on 29/03/2000 for consideration as his date of appointment. The petitioner made a representation dated 10/01/2018 to the Zilla Parishad.

In these facts, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10/01/2018 in accordance with law and take a decision thereon within a period of four weeks of receiving copy of this order.
