We deem it appropriate to dispose of the petition with the following order :

The services of the husband of the petitioner were with the respondent - Zilla Parishad in the capacity of Assistant Accounts Officer from which he stood superannuated in 1999.

It is claimed that the petitioner is entitled for the family pension. Such family pension is required to be recomputed having regard to the mandate provided in the Government Resolution dated 25.09.1995. Since the petitioner's husband was in the employment of the Zilla Parishad, his services in our opinion are governed by the provisions of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishad District Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1964. 5.

In such an eventuality, we deem it appropriate to permit the petitioner to appear before the Divisional Commissioner, Amravati Division, Armavati on 24.03.2025.

The Divisional Commissioner, Amravati Division, Amravti shall consider the claim of the petitioner based on the written request to that effect to be submitted by the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six weeks from the date of such appearance.

The reasoned order to that effect be communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter. 8.

The petition stands disposed of in the above terms.

The Divisional Commissioner shall also consider the petition and the annexures thereto which shall be produced by the petitioner on the date along with the representation.
