Smt. Deshpande, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Respondent Nos.1, 3 and 4, points out that this petition is filed by seven Petitioners taking exception to the reservation provided for the post of Sarpanch in four different Gram

0803wp799.21 Panchayats. The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that this amounts to misjoinder as each cause is different and logistically it is difficult to file reply.

2) We agree with the contention of the learned Assistant Government Pleader. The Petitioners will have to file separate petitions. While issuing notice on 9 February 2021, we had refused the interim relief.

3) We dispose of this petition granting liberty to the Petitioners to file separate petitions in respect of four different Gram Panchayats.
