In this petition, a challenge is raised to the order dated 31.08.2020 passed by the Additional Commissioner, Amravati, rejecting the revision application and maintaining the order of the Collector, Yavatmal dated 20.09.2017, whereby the prayer of the petitioner for correction of mutation entry stood in the name of his mother and him, on the ground that after the death of the father of the petitioner, revenue authorities ought to have recorded only his name and not the name of his mother in the revenue record, was rejected.

After going through the observations recorded by both the Authorities-below, it is evident that the Authorities have observed that after the death of the father of the petitioner, the mother of the petitioner cultivated the land and she died on 03.11.2011. The Authorities have clearly observed that after the death of the father of the petitioner, the petitioner was not the nd.thawre

936wp2653-22.odt only heir who inherited the tenancy and therefore, the mutation entries were properly taken in the name of both. 4.
