Dated : 12th March, 2019 The father of the petitioner expired in the year 1985. Hence, the mother of the petitioner made a claim for appointment on compassionate ground in 1988. She was not provided the employment. The petitioner attained the majority in 2001, in 2005 he completed the education, and then applied for employment on compassionate ground. Thereafter continuously till 2015, the representations were made, but no cognizance is taken. All these things are considered by the Tribunal by its decision rendered on 25-7-2014 in Original Application No.211/00153/2014 in rejecting the claim of the petitioner for employment on compassionate ground, holding that the claim is highly belated. The Tribunal has also held that the family was not in acute distress or suffering from indigency after death of the employee.
