By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to conduct an enquiry in the matter of award of contract to the respondent no.5 and cancel the contract/agreement executed in favour of the respondent no.5. We do not find that the petitioner has a locus standi to file the writ petition. The petitioner has not applied for grant of contract that is awarded to the respondent no.5. If the petition is filed in public interest, it would be necessary for the petitioner to follow the relevant rules of the Bombay High Court Public Interest Litigation Rules, 2013 before the same is registered, if at all, as a Public Interest Litigation.

In view of the aforesaid, we dismiss the writ petition with no order as to costs.

The points raised in the petition are, however, kept open.
