The applicant is convicted for offence punishable under section 294, 506-I, 509 of the Indian Penal Code and under section 3([1][x] of the Scheduled Casts and

apeal61of18.odt 2 Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act and is sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for three years for offence under section 3([1][x] of the Scheduled Casts and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. I have scrutinized the depositions of witnesses and the reasoning recorded by the learned Sessions Judge. The sentence is suspended by the learned Special Judge.

Having scrutinized the record, I deem it appropriate to suspend the substantive sentence till the disposal of the appeal.

Bail as in trial Court.

The applicant - accused shall not, in any event and for any reason, establish any contact with the complainant. Needless to say, any infringement of this condition shall result in cancellation of bail. Application is allowed.
