Nobody for the petitioners even on second call. Shri A.V. Palshikar, learned AGP for respondent Nos. 1, 3 & 4. He attempts to demonstrate that in the light of passage of time, challenge is rendered infructuous. We find that there was a grievance made for misappropriation against Respondent No. 5. However, there is no appearance even for other respondents. The prayers in the petition are for restraining Respondent No. 5 to work as Administrator and impugned orders are passed in the year 2003. The tenure of the Administrator on a Co-operative Society cannot last for more than five years.

We, therefore, find that the challenge in the petition is rendered infructuous. Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.
