The reply filed on behalf of respondent Nos. 2 and 5 clarifies the position in the matter and this reply shows that now the grievance of the petitioner No.1 has been satisfied with allotment of Paddy Procurement Centre. Petitioner No.2-Society has same grievance about non-allotment of Paddy Procurement Centre just as the petitioner No.1 had at the time of filing of the petition. It is seen from the statements made in paragraph 4 of the reply that the matter is being reconsidered by respondent Nos. 2 and 5 and as orally submitted by the learned counsel for the respondents that if any allotment is to be made, as a result of successful reconsideration of the issue, the same is likely to be for the next paddy season.

In view of above, the grievance of the petitioners does not survive here and as such the petition is disposed of as having served its purpose. No costs. (ANIL S.KILOR,J) (SUNIL B. SHUKRE,J) RRaut..
