The appeal is preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order of sentence passed by the Special Judge, under the Prevention of Corruption Act,1988, dated 15/09/2011, by which, the original appellant was convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 7 and Section 13(1)(d), 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. 2.

During the pendency of the appeal, the appellant has died, and therefore, this application is filed by the legal heirs of the appellant to continue with this appeal. 3.

In view of the reasons mentioned in the application, the applicant/Asha Shripad Dhankar is permitted to continue with this appeal. The learned counsel for the applicant shall carry out the necessary amendment in cause title 4.

List the appeal in the week commencing from 26/03/2024.
