The Petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the Respondents in not issuing renewed Passport in his favour. 3.

Shri Chaudhari, learned Counsel for the Respondents points out that Section 11 of the Passport Act, 1967 provides for an appeal in respect the orders of the Passport Authority on the applications for passport.

Since the remedy of appeal is available to the Petitioner, it is not necessary to entertain the Writ Petition. Averments made in the reply of the Respondents shall be considered as prima facie opinion. If any issue of delay arises, the Appellate Authority will take into consideration that the notice was issued in this petition on 24 August 2018 and time was taken on behalf of the Respondents. 5.

The Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
