In this writ petition the petitioner has prayed that the State Government and especially the Excise Department be directed to frame guidelines with a view to stop malpractices at the hands of wholesalers which results in regulating the prices of wine and wine related products.

We have perused the documents filed with the writ petition and especially the notice dated 09.11.2021. We however find that no specific details have been furnished by the petitioner to enable the respondents to act on the same. Hence with liberty to the petitioner to make a detailed representation to the respondents raising its grievance alongwith all factual details, the writ petition is disposed of. If such representation is made the same shall be considered in accordance with law. No costs.
