DATED : 20/01/2023 At the very outset Mr. Anand Parchure, learned Counsel for respondent 5, seeks leave to correct the Pursis dated 19.01.2023.

We grant leave to correct the date of order dated "01.11.2021" as "04.01.2022" and further to substitute the word "petitioner" in line three by the words "respondent 5".

In view of the fair stand taken by respondent 5, we allow the petition partly and quash the appointment of respondent 5 as Headmaster and consequential approval granted by respondent 3 - Education Officer.

We further direct the respondent 1 to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment as Headmaster within a week and to further decide her entitlement to consequential monetary benefit, if permissible in law. 5.
