The applicant has filed an appeal under Section 374(2) of Code of Criminal Procedure. He has been sentenced to life imprisonment vide judgment dated 26/3/2014 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Bhandara. Presently, he is in Jail. Shri Band, learned Counsel for applicant, submits that delay of 401 days in filing appeal is

Ms. Tripathi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent, is opposing the prayer of applicant for condonation of delay.

In this situation, we condone the delay in the interest of justice. Office to register the appeal. CRIMINAL APPEAL NO. OF 2015 Registry has been directed to register appeal vide above order passed today while condoning delay.
