Before the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, the petitioner challenged the selection list for the post of Police Patil and claimed direction to hold the process of election. The Tribunal dismissed his Original Application No.971/2017 on 14.09.2018, as none appeared for the petitioner and the Tribunal observed that the appointment of the respondent no.3 on the post of Police Patil was not challenged.

Both the aforesaid findings are not challenged in the petition. There was no relief claimed challenging the appointment of the respondent no.3 in the Original Application. Hence, we do not find any reason to entertain this petition, it is dismissed. (Vinay Joshi, J.) (R.K. Deshpande, J.) Gulande
