The applicant, who is arrested on 19.01.2020 in connection with Crime 460/2019 for offence punishable under Section 306 and 498-A of the IPC is seeking enlargement on bail.

2] The deceased Madhuri was the wife of the applicant who committed suicide by setting herself afire, is the case of the prosecution.

3] The incident occurred on 09.10.2019 and Madhuri succumbed on 16.11.2019.

4] I have perused the case diary and particularly the dying declaration recorded. The dying declaration does not inculpate the applicant. All that is said is that a day prior, there was a quarrel between the applicant and Madhuri. However, the mother of the deceased lodged first information report 11 days after the death i.e. on 27.11.2019. The investigation is almost over. 5] Considering the material on record, as is

ba117.20.O.odt discernible from the case diary, I am satisfied that no purpose would be served by the further incarceration of the applicant.

6] The applicant shall be released on furnishing P.R. bond of Rs.16,000/- with a surety of like amount. 7] The applicant shall report at Police Station Balapur every Monday between 11:00 a.m. to 02:00 p.m. till the filing of the charge-sheet.

8] The applicant shall not, directly or indirectly make any attempt to influence the witnesses.
