By this contempt petition, the petitioners had sought action against the respondents for willful disobedience of the directions in the judgment dated 24.11.2014 in Writ Petition No.816 of 2014.

According to the petitioners, the contempt petition was filed as the respondents had deliberately not scrutinized the cases of the petitioners to consider whether they are eligible for the benefit of the Assured Career Progression Scheme. It is, however, fairly stated on behalf of the petitioners that after the contempt petition was filed, the respondents have complied with the order and have scrutinized the cases of the petitioners.

In view of the aforesaid, it would not be necessary to proceed with the contempt petition any further. We dispose of the contempt petition with no order as to costs.
