By preferring this revision, the applicant has challenged the concurrent finding of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bhandara, and Additional Sessions Judge, Bhandara, in Criminal Appeal No. 02/2024, by which the applicant is convicted of the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for two months and to pay a fine of Rs. 2 lakhs, in default to undergo simple imprisonment for four months.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the punishment imposed is of a limited period. He also pointed out from the impugned judgment that he has many arguable points in the said revision. However, revision would take its own time for its final disposal. He has already deposited the amount of Rs. 25,000/- before the trial court and also shown his readiness to deposit 20% of rkn

Considering that the sentence is of limited period, the execution of sentence be suspended till the disposal of the appeal. On condition that the appellant shall deposit 20% of the compensation amount before the trial Court. 4.
The appellant shall be released on bail on executing P.R. Bond of Rs. 25,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount.

The criminal application (APPR) No. 20/2025 is disposed of.
