Shri Sambre, the learned counsel for the applicant states that in view of the statement made in paras 5 and 6 of the affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf of the respondent no. 1, it appears that no material could be gathered by the Investigating Officer against the applicant and since this Court has restrained the respondent no.1 from filing the charge-sheet, no further steps were taken in favour of the applicants. It is stated that the grievance of the applicant would stand redressed as the respondent no.1 has not found any material for taking further action against the applicant in furtherance of the registration of the first information report.

In view of the aforesaid, the respondent no. 1

2 APL96.2017 may take appropriate action in view of the statement made in paras 5 and 6 of the affidavit-in-reply filed on behalf of the respondent no. 1.

Since the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, we dispose of the criminal application. Order accordingly.
