We are informed that the inspite of the appeal of the petitioner against her disqualification for the post of Sarpanch is substantially heard, the order is yet to be passed.

Our attention is also invited to the fact that the election of the post of Sarpanch are scheduled on 6th February, 2025. 4.

That being so, we dispose of the present petition by permitting the petitioner to appear before the respondent/State Government on 18th February, 2025. with direction to the State Government to decide the appeal of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks thereafter. 5.

The result of the election for the post of Sarpanch shall be subject to outcome of the same.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of.
