This is mentioned as a urgent petition by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, although by the pursis dated 16/03/2020, the petitioner merely seeks to withdraw the petition. The urgency stated on behalf of the petitioner is that she desires to go back to Kolkata after withdrawal of this writ petition today. 3.

By the pursis, divorce settlement agreement is placed on record, wherein the petitioner and respondent No.5 (wife and husband) have entered into a settlement agreement. One of the clauses states that

2 / 2 wp792.2020 petitioner would withdraw certain pending proceedings, including the present Writ Petition No.792/2020. 4.

The respondent Nos.2 to 5 have no objection to withdrawal of the writ petition, as the learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.4 and 5 stated that the petitioner had already handed over possession of the premises in question to the said respondents and that they intend to handover the possession of the premises in question to the landlord i.e. respondent No.2 and 3, today itself. This is in full and final settlement of the dispute between the parties. The said respondent Nos.2 and 3 are also represented through counsel before this Court.

In view of the above, the petitioner is permitted to withdraw the present writ petition and consequently it is disposed of as withdrawn.
