By this application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the applicants have prayed that F.I.R. registered against them for offences punishable under Sections 498-A, 504 and 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and the consequential proceedings be quashed.

The criminal application was listed on 25th February, 2019. The tenor of the order dated 25th February, 2019 shows that submission was made on behalf of the applicants that the matter is amicably worked out between the applicants and the non-applicant No.2 (informant). The learned Advocate for the applicants had requested that the matter be kept on 4th March, 2019 so that the presence of non-applicant No.2 could be ensured and the matter can be disposed. On 4th March 2019, Advocate for the applicants again

2 apl128.19 sought time. The matter was listed on 12th March, 2019 on which date again Advocate for the applicants sought time. Today, neither applicants nor their Advocate are present. It appears that the applicants are not interested in prosecuting the matter. The criminal application is dismissed for want of prosecution.
